Performance Gaines is committed to innovative training - an experience - working on a solid athletic foundation while staying focused on each athlete’s individual goals. Performance Gaines’ H.S./College Training is a leading program that includes instruction in movement training, injury reduction, linear and lateral speed development, foot speed and agility, explosive power development, proper weight training techniques, functional strength training and other viable educational experiences that will remain part of every athlete’s career. Athletes are closely supervised as the coach takes them through intense workouts and attention is always paid to proper technique and safety.

    PERFORMANCE TRAINING
  • Speed – Acceleration, Deceleration, Linear and Lateral Movement Techniques, Running Mechanics, Footwork
  • Explosive Power – Olympic Lifting, Plyometrics, Medicine Ball, Jumping & Landing Techniques
  • Conditioning – Proper conditioning to improve work capacity
  • Flexibility – Increasing joint and muscle strength and durability; Myofascial Release (Foam Rolling), Various Forms of Stretching, Muscle Activation

    INJURY REDUCTION
  • Functional Movement Screening (FMS) – Identify areas of weakness and develop corrective strategies
  • Regeneration – Aid in workout recovery to keep body optimized for performance each day
  • Pre-hab Exercises – Strengthen your most vulnerable areas that get stressed in everyday movement: your hips, core and shoulders decreasing potential for injury.
  • Periodization - Allows a competitive athlete to peak physical performance at a particular point in time, such as for a major competition or testing day.
    NUTRITION
  • Post Workout Shake – Aid in recovery of muscles providing essential proteins and nutrients
  • PG Nutrition – Understand how to fuel and hydrate the body to achieve peak performance before, during, and after games and practices.
